phew........ that was tough going. thanks tony for the words of support along the way.... it really helps to keep the mind focussed.

34 players went to the break and I was in 31st. I didnt bother to top up as I was so card dead and was on 1030 chips and didnt think it was worth the $200. I was getting cards I could push with and wasnt getting the opportunity as somebody was doing it ahead of me. Finally got into a race with 10 10 and won and the game took off from there.

I made a big move with air on the final table when 6 handed when 3 diamonds came on the board - i also had middle pair, I bet out an unorthadox amount, he raised and I pushed knowing unless he had a flush he should lay down with so much at stake... luckily he did and that set me up with 30k stack which let me pick my spots and left me under no pressure to act..

4 handed and on the bubble there was a monster stack and i was in 2nd place looking for them to clash somehow. I had to fold 10 10 on the button when the monster chip leader raised 3xBB, also folded AQ, AJ a few times. (tight fcker).

3 handed I am now the short stack and I push on button with A4, SB and other shortstack goes into the tank and nearly times out before he calls with KJ. MHWG and the other guy is left with 1.5bb. He was SB and folded next time around leaving with just 1 bb when I was on SB and I couldnt complete my SB with 6 2 (Gholli - was I getting odds?). Next hand it was all over when shortstack was all in on the BB and that was all she wrote.

Really delighted to have won a ticket - came home from Cheltenham last night and logged on at 9.55 to play the qualifier. $24 later and im looking forward to the PP Open.
