Just thought it might be interesting to find out the different routes people took to become psychologists, where they studied, where they are now and what they see themselves doing in the future.

I received my undergraduate degree from Trinity College Dublin in Psychology. After that i underwent an M.Sc in Psychodynamic Developmental Neuroscience in conjunction with University College London/Yale University (first year in UCL and second in Yale). Currently I am working as a clinical psycholgist's assistant in the London area and am in the middle of applying to different doctorate programs in the U.S. I intend to obtain my doctorate from a university in the U.S and hope to work in a hospital in New York for around ten years. Then I hope to return to Ireland and teach in a University. Well there you have it! Story of my life...take from it what you wish!
