What's the story with returning specials to Aldi, does it have to be the same store that you bought them in? I got the Tevion DECT dual handset answerphone thing (€40) and it's missing the instructions and I can't get it to work. On reflection I don't need an answerphone or indeed multiple handsets anyway so I was thinking I'd return it and get a Philips from Argos at €30 or so.

Do you have the receipt? Should be no problem once you have, and any store is ok also.

Thanks for that. Didn't know about the same store/any store thing and of course you can't phone them to enquire.

You can phone for general enquiries (or at least I have done in the past)...and the number I have is 1800 509 324.

They just like a receipt ...and will refund in cash:) I find them very good on returns.

I returned it and they refunded in cash, very good. I did say it was faulty, don't know whether that mattered though. Got the Philips from Argos and that just worked straight away after I plugged it in.

In my experience Aldi and Lidl are really good with returning goods. They usually take them ith no questions asked.
