Actually, it's pronounced 'Hoool' but we only found that out after we came up with the word play and we never let the truth get in the way of a good press release, o....Thursday December 14th continues our longstanding series of M-Nus artists which have featured at Electric City, Richie Hawtin, Troy Pierce and Magda have all been over and now we're delighted to have a live show from Marc Houle who's 'Bay of Figs' album has been rocking floors all over Europe the past few months. Over the course of the past two years, Marc Houle's music has quickly elevated his studio prose into desired analog soaked treasures of the dancefloor. Developing fans from vinyl to the club, his new double pack outing showcases new developments in his already minimal pop genius that have been tested on the road over the past few months.

In the past year he has remixed Slam's 'Kill The Pain' single (featuring Dot Allison) and 'Turbo Dreams' by Ellen Allien & Apparat. Between DJs championing his work in clubs and after-parties or making it an essential addition on mix albums from producers like Slam or Loco Dice, Houle is working his way to the top. His live performances from Europe to the US have doubled the impact and his live debut here in Ireland will be an early Xmas present for all fans of the Minus/Hawtin/Villalobos sound. Support comes from Test man, Daniel McElligott who will be burning the floor up nicely on this chilly Winter's eve.
