Can't say i know much about em, but i'm interested in maybe picking one up.. Anyone have one or recommend a decent one for a moderate price? What should you look for when buying?

What should you look for? Well it's a whole other ballgame from acoustic, lemme tell ya! You might find it uncomfortable given the fatter neck and (generally) higher action. Though I would look for one with a truss rod, in case your neck needs adjusting from externalities beyond string tension (obviously).

Other than that, I guess look for the same stuff you look for with an acoustic...solid top would be the main priority. I know thew La Patrie range by Godin is pretty sweet because my brother has one. I think they go for about 500.
