    i'd say the quickest way if you don't know would be to remove the modem from the equation and re-plug the pc back into the router.

    then if you do an ipconfig/release then ipconfig/renew you should get your IP from the router.

    ipconfig/all should show you the default gateway which would then be the router.

    or maybe a tracert to 192.168.1.1 with everything set up the way it is now.

    if your router is between the modem and the PC it should show on the traceroute

    if the wireless router is between the pc and modem, surely you could run a tracert and see what the ip of the hop before the zyxel is?

    Hmmm, is the zyxel in bridged mode or sommat?

    Ok im able to connect to the modem now, i downloaded the 3com discovery program and it found it. Now to try and get the xbox360 to talk to the PC. It doesnt like it at all!
