hi do i need my old gamecube controller to play gamecube games or can i just use the wiimote/nunchuck ? anyone tried this yet?

you need gamecube controller.

or the classic controller I believe.

No, the classic controller can be used for VC games or Wii games that will use more traditional controls. (Lack of effort me thinks)

But you CANNOT use the classic controller or wiimote to play GC games, you have to use a GC controller, as when you're playing GC games, the wiimote stops working, can't use the home button or anything. And as the Classic Controller works through the wiimote, it doesn't work.
