    Thanks

Best out of the bunch I think. Think that Elara will let you pick stuff up?

    PCWorld... itdirect... maplin
tbh though they all suck balls.
Brick & morter shops in Dublin have such a small selection and the prices aren't great.
Peats for example never has anything you want in stock EVER... PCWorld don't know how to put price tags on things so you wander around the shop wondering what things cost all the time... and mostly do peripherals, so if you want to upgrade any internals of your PC, you've got maybe two motherboards in the whole shop... of which, neither will have a bloody price tag anywhere near it.
Itdirect is about the size of a telephone box with a counter in it.
I've washed my hands with all of them, it's a shambles, I'm sick of it... I only ever buy pc hardware online anymore... it's cheaper, you've got a huge selection and you can see exactly how much stock they have for any given item.

Likewise always shop online unless I need something quickly. Pop into PC World the odd time for the laugh sometimes. Their sales strategy appears to be to add an extra 0 to the end of the price and then multiply it by 2.153. I'm amazed what people buy in there. I'm always tempted to teach them the error of their ways but I couldn't be arsed.

Hitide.ie as well, although it is very specialized. Still its very simple to place an order online then collect it. You can get there in 10 minutes from a bus in the city center.

Also check out this index for computer shops, online or not, in dublin:

Another recommendation for Marx Computers here.

Max Burns is another place, they are located at O'Connell Bridge.
