I have a problem with my website, basically I cannot access the website. I rang my isp provider and they said its a problem with the router which I thought myself.

I paid for the website the other day and when you go to the website it brings you to the Joomla login screen. So i know it works.

My friends across the road with the same isp can access it and also a few friends around the country. When I plug the cable straight into the modem it works fine.

    The website is www.horizon-lans.com
The model of my router is TP-LINK TL-WR541G ( extended range, 54M Wireless Router )

    Any help would be appreciated

    Cheers,
    Tom

update the firmware on it. It should help. You will be able to find it on the manufacturers website in the downloads/support section.

ya thats till not working. This is wat it says what to do

To upgrade the router's firmware, follow these instructions:

    1. Download a more recent firmware upgrade file from the TP-LINK website (www.tp-link.com).
    2. Run a TFTP Server on a PC on your LAN, then take the file in the TFTP server's path.
    3. Enter the downloaded file name into the File Name box.
    4. Enter the IP address of the PC that runs the TFTP server in the TFTP Server's IP Address field.
    5. Click the Upgrade button.
    6. The router will reboot while the upgrading has been finished.

Firmware Version - Displays the current firmware version.

Hardware Version - Displays the current hardware version. The hardware version of the upgrade file must accord with the current hardware version.

Dont know what a TFTP server is so I didnt do it. Still cant access the website

Basicially a FTP server. It needs to be downloaded locally apparently. So do you have a spare pc/laptop in your house thats connected to your network ? so you can install a ftp server program on it ?
