Ryanair Refund?

    Hi,

I know this question was asked before, but it didn't seem to be answered, but does anyone know how to cancel a Ryanair flight and get your taxes refunded?

I don't think they will refund the price of the flight, but they should refund the taxes (which make up most of the fare in any case)?

Aer Lingus have a pretty intelligible site, but the Ryanair site is just a joke..

    Thanks.
    Juan.

You've more chance of seeing O'Leary picking up a fare at the front of the Airport taxi queue than you have of getting money back of that lot!

they probably charge a fee to process the taxes refund, however you are entitled to this money back if you don't use the flight. I'd ring them to check this.

EDIT - found this on their site

Unless the taxes exceed €25 (the refund application processing fee), per flight, don't bother. I seriously doubt you'll get your money back for a unused flight. Also, don't bother ringing the reservations line to cancel, they'll do that for you anyway; it'll save you €3.
