Is anybody else a little pissed off with the number of star points they gave for the console?
1000 for the gamecube, 500 for DS and DS lite, then only 250 for the Wii
Guess it does kind of point towards them planning something for the star points

Aye, I got 500 for the Wii. 250 for Wii Sports, Zelda and Wii Play.

Managed to connect my account to my Wii but nothing about converting points yet

Happened to me a couple of times when I tried to connect it on the Wii, eventually worked though. I reckon the servers are just overloaded.

Let us know what they say, I only got 250 too. Nice to see something worth using the points on, although I can't imagine the conversion rate will be very good.

I got 500points for the Wii.

Totally forgot my old password though, which I started when I got a GameCube at launch - never really added much more than the Cube and a game or two, but still. And the 'email your password' thing didn't work

Don't think I got any points at all with RayMan, do they only come with first party Nintendo games?

I've got just under 5,000 stars so it'll be interesting to see what the conversion to Wii points is.

Anyone that was worried about getting 250 points for Wii should check their account again. I just checked mine and it has changed from 250 to 500 points, there must have been some mistake when they registered on the 8th.

I see Age of Empires: The Age of Kings was available on the catalogue for 5,000 stars but it's sold out. I've always missed the good stuff. Who the hell wants wallpapers and ringtones?

Just checked my stars balance, it looks like they're going to give us star points for items bought in the Wii shop.
I've got a horrible feeling that the article was wrong and this is what will happen instead...

Have you checked your account lately? I got 250 for mine too but then it was changed to 500 a couple of days later.

Yeah I checked it just before posting that.

I sent them an email askin what the story was with some people getting 250 and some people getting 500 stars.

I asked if there was any truth about Wii points being made available for star points too, so fingers crossed
