I suffer from poor network connectivity and often find during a large file download that I lose my connection and when it restarts I have to start all over again. I cannot get conventional broadband and find the satellite alternatives too dear so am on a slow ISDN line. Some sites I download from don't offer the option of extended download time so I have ended up paying twice for some stuff.
Now I'm thinking what if I had a download manager rhat could resume a download if the connection is lost.
So could you help me out here with what choices are available
I use either Firefox or IE7 browsers
    Thanks in advance
