Hilary Term Timetable Question

Okay, all I need to know is:

How much does the timetable change for next term, or does it depend what course you're doing? I'm just curious, since I'm eager to change and retain some of the current timetable. I can't have it both ways, but I'd appreciate your feedback on this.

It depends on the course. In Sociology & Social Policy, it never changed once over the four years. Do you have many subjects that you're dropping at Christmas time?

Are you doing JF science? (Your name rings a bell).

JF science doesn't really change, aside from reassignment of labs and tutorials.

Tip: it IS possible, despite what they say, to pick your own labs to go to (if there is room), but they won't make it easy for you. And they don't really take attendance at tutorials, so you can pick your own of those on a weekly basis. (DO go to them though, they're probs more important than the lectures.)

Yup, I'm doing JF Science. I've probably met you before in Maths labs or something.

So, do you mean that you will no longer be in the lab you used to be in? That could be handy for me.

I am disappointed, however, that the timetable probably won't change much. Oh well...

Nah, I'm a SF, I meant it rang a bell from the who's who thread or something..

The labs will all be reshuffled, and you'll more than likely be able to swap to a new one if you go to the science faculty office. But at least have a good reason to tell them..
