suprised that no one has mentioned this horse getting injured... i have lost a lot of money on this horse in recent times, however, it is still a gr8 horse and i was upset to hear of its retirement. people forget that this horse lost to baracouda at the festival (it probably didnt help that it had ran so soon before hand and was a novice) and then came back the following yr to beat baracouda. i think that this horse would have been one of the gr8s if they didnt run it as a chaser in its later life and kept it as a long distance hurdeler. another horse that didnt live up to its expectations as a novice, looking at the facts tho it seems to me (and i may be wrong somewhere so correct me if i am) that it should have not been a chaser for the last two seasons or so...

The horse suffered for having a looper as an owner.

he never ran a good race over fences and it was obvious from day 1 he wasnt a chaser. robert lester doesnt deserve any more good horses after the disaster he made of this one.

could have been one of the all time great staying hurdlers
