    bit retarded at bettin as havint really gotten into it but can ppl explain wats the SP stand for on the paddy power site beside the odds. and also when im lookin at the rugby or American fuzball odds they have say a ''+4'' or ''-27'' in with the odds.
    so can some of you's enlightened 1's out there explain or is there a link to explain all this stuff somewhere already.

    SP = starting price. If you don't want to take the odds being offered on the paddy power site you can click the SP instead and you will get the SP odds that are influenced by the market movement up to the off time of the race.

    The +4 etc are handicaps. They are used to even up teams in a betting sense. So rather than backing the favourite at odds of 1/4 or whatever you could back them at 10/11 for example with the stated handicap.

    so the handicaps work like if a team have a +4 handicap and loses by 2 u win??
