I bought somehting online the other day, the retailer said they had it in stock. 2 days later it has not shipped, they said it had to come from Germany. I asked to cancel the order and give me a refund which they didi and I bought elsewhere.

I just checked my credit card. There was a difference of a tenner in what I piad versus what I recieved. I assumed I would get back exactly what i paid. its not that much money but still I feel a little robbed!

Was the original sale in euros or pounds sterling? If the latter, it might be down to exchange rate difference.

That's happened to me a few times, and on each occasion, my credit card company were happy to credit me with the difference when I pointed out the charge it was a refund against. Mind you, it's never happened to me with Paypal...

Get on to the retailer and get them to credit you the balance, there is no excuse for any reductions.

They are obviously taking a commission on both transactions
