Well the stuff they didn't have in stock had reserve stickers on them!! They didn't, they had the prices.

Would Game not have their own branded cables out now either??

Virgin in Liffy Valley have a a DVD box with the Nintendo component cables printed on it, with "Ask a member of staff for help" ... when I asked a member of staff he said they didn't have any, and they wouldn't for a while. Great help that was.

I think the offical release date in Europe is 7 Jan for the cables, but hopefully there will be 3rd party cables out soon. Going to try GameStop on my way home today.

Do the componet cables have pins in them like a pc?

I called a couple of Gamestops here in Dallas, and they said they're due to get the official Nintendo ones on the 31st of December (at $30). So that Jan 7th thing for Europe sounds realistic.

I checked on the order I made with success-hk, and they said the order hasn't shipped yet, which is weird, because I could have sworn I saw that they were shipped, earlier :( I've emailed them asking to cancel the order, so I can get the Nintendo ones from gamestop this month.

I'm not sure what you're asking, but the cables we're referring to are these.

    See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/YPbPr for more info.

play-asia is selling 3rd party ones for $9.99

I think the $9.99 on Play-asia is the same cable that you get with the Wii (composite).

They have a component cable at $39.99 and no RGB cables.

I just bought a 3rd party component cable from Ebay for €21 (incl. delivery, shipping from Hong Kong):

It'll do me until a higher quality cable is released anyway.

I was looking at that auction myself, but the "12 moth WARRANTY !!" put me off. :p Keeping my eye out for some official ones on Ebay.
