    I have an old compaq deskpro. 128mB Ram, 10gB Hardrive, pIII 500mHz-ish

    When i turn it on, it begins to boot, give then option for setup (f10) and then it just stops, screen goes blank and nothing else. No beep codes, no error codes,

    Pressing f10 does not bring up the bios menu

    Any ideas?

    disconnected the harddrive, it then allowed me to boot from cd (didnt allow before), so ill see if i can reload the OS. Fingers crossed.
