if its to post process, look at the tutorials here, there isnt alot to learn really.. alot, once you get the basics of layers, everything else kinda makes sense. 200 euro is alot for touching up your images.

    Which tutorials ?

Found these ones up on http://www.photoshoptraining.com/

    Photoshop CS2 For Beginners $70
    Mastering Layers in Photoshop $70

Not sure if these are generic to photoshop or specific to CS 2 (thought these were free !) so any good reccomendations apreciated as to where to start, to learn about PS and layers .
    Cheers.

Photoshop TV is great, if you have a little prior knowledge, but they do explain everything quite well. Photoshop killer tips is also very good for quick user interface tips. I think paying €200 euro is a bit much and the basics aren't that difficult and you should find plenty of help here!

Eh...I posted a couple of tutorials right here on this forum... you can find them in this thread

A book I can recommend is Photoshop CS2 for Photographers by Martin Evening.

There aren't too many differences between PS 7, CS and CS2 apart from the odd tweak so most things you read or watch should work in either version.

It doesn't cover fundamentals, but you should be able to try the tutorials with your own pictures nevertheless. The explanation in the tutorials is very graphic and should offer enough explanation even for people who never used photoshop before.

That one covers about everything, but mind you it's quite technical at times. I advice you go to Eason's or another bookstore and have a look at the different books available before you purchase from ebay. I bought my copy from Eason's, so I'm pretty sure they have it there :). I don't remember what I paid for it though.

Saw a cheaper book over the weekend, its called "Photoshop CS2 In easy steps " , and priced at 15 euros in comparison to "Photoshop CS2 for Photographers" , which is 40 euros.
Has anyone else used this book or any other books in the "In easy steps " series , and more importantly found it helpfull ?

From my quick browse it seamed ok .
    Thanks.
