I want to move a fridge/freezer from cork to limerick. but it will only fit in my car on it side will this cause damage to it. I know not to plug in it for 12 hrs after standing up right.

I just moved a fridge from Dublin to Kildare on its side... left it to stand for a few hours after the move, and all seems fine.

No gurantees you will have the same result of course - but anecdotal evidence is better than none, I guess.

    Good luck with it.
