Codec Problems

Hi all As ive recently gotten broadband in im enjoying the torrent sites at the min. But the formats have me confused. Some "copyrite free content" files play in wmp but with no picture. The xvid codec has been installed but xvid files wont work. I installed vlc media player & div x but still no avail. Anyone got an idea…

Hi all

Try downloading K-lite codec pack and see if it gets you anywhere.

If vlc wont play something....it usually means that the file is broken / corrupted during download tbh.
