An American Airlines plane made an emergency landing in Nashville after passengers reported the smell of sulphur from burning matches All 99 passengers and five crew left the plane while it was searched.

So the feds were called in.

The matches were found on the seat of a woman who had attempted to conceal the odour of flatulence with the matches, Nashville airport authorities said. The woman was questioned by the FBI but released without charge and allowed to board another American Airlines flight.

I bet she wasn't an Arab so , she'd have been shackled and boilersuited and Guantanamoed by now

She had "no malicious intent but had struck matches which is against [Transport Security Administration] rules," Ms Lowrance said.
The unidentified woman had an unspecified medical condition, Associated Press news agency said.

Somehow I think that they would not have been so understanding on an international flight so please don't eat beans before you fly, and don't eat a TACO on the way back either if you don't fancy a boiler suit. If you must fart and must light matches to hide teh smell try to get a letter from your doctor before you fly.
