Should have mentioned this before. I live in Tokyo (20 years) have 9 guitars (eyeing a Gibson 335 Heritage from Santy) all bought here, so I know my way around. If any of you seriously need help from over here, fear not to call, Seasonal greetings all.

IMO, every hollowbody deserves 57 classic PUs. Sweet sweet with creamy overdrive.

nice!....i picked up a sg for 100 quid the last day and gonna change the humbuckers in it 'n' paint it to the fashion of the clapton sg......looking for some bluesy classic rock esqe pickups to stick in.....those'd be along the same lines i'd imagine.....not sure what to go for yet but i'll ask the lads here in a month or so when i upgrade and i'm sure i'll get some good advise;)

I was in Tokyo for the summer, I remember this cool little guitar shop in Jinbocho with some funky little guitars.

One of them was similar to the kind Matt Bellamy used on tour in France circa 99/00. A small one with a little amp built inside kind of thing...you can find some lovely little types around Tokyo.
