We just confirmed the new dates for the next Sub Championships event.

    March 10th/11th 2007 - UCD Sports Centre.

While we can't release any details about this event (which promises to be the best yet) we wanted to let you know about it now so you can ask Santa for a new rashguard or flowery board shorts.

March 10th will be the Adult Division
    March 11th, the juniors.

The kids division has grown so much that we will hold it on separate days from now on to give the kids the attention they deserve.

    Colm

PS: Yes I know it's a pity this is the same weekend as UFR 8. We have been scheduling this for a while and didn't want to conflict with ROT or the MMA League so apologies to anyone who wanted to compete in the next sub event but can't due to UFR 8 commitments. To put a positive spin on it it's great to see the sport evolving in this country to the point where there are so many opportunities to compete or spectate.

Thoughts of turkey turn to thoughts of weight cutting. Sigh! :(

Too busy in work to run a team charity event before xmas but I will put one on post the NSC sometime toward end of April. Roll on the submission season!

Believe me, I think this tournament will be the best around.

I do think some sort of "fat tax" should be imposed if people go up a weight category from their usual one.

Let's not forget the shame of "Dublin Open:The Fattening".

Guys there are 75 days between Christmas day at the event. If you can't lose the weight in that time, you're not going to lose it.

And I agree with Clive, let's have people say that this tournament was the most ripped one yet!

    62, 68, 75, 83, 92, open.

All under, meaning 67.99 is fine, 68.00 isn't
