Anyone see Poker Millions last night? It was one of the funniest 2 hours of tv i've seen in a long time. The tanzanian colonel is gonna make it big, no doubt about it, a star in the making. Think theres a repeat on around now, not sure tho.

It was brillant, he hadn't a clue, string betting, checking outta turn, the works, the other two lads nearly started crying with his play. Any two cards will do. Great entertainment.

It makes you wonder how someone like him made it there. The first hand he limped with 54o under the gun. He was stupendously terrible, and the look of amazement when he made his call against Roy with A2 and against the other guy with JT was just priceless.

its great how he call with the jack ten and then the two commentators just laughing out loud. Also Sam the irish dealer really tarted up her hands. hand flirting with helen chamberlin i think.

3rd. I fell asleep when they were 3 handed after he rivered roy twice in a row, and woke up whne they were heads up, without the Colonel, but fell asleep again and din't wake up til it was over, so no idea who won.

In fairness to him when he called Roy the ace 2 was suited.

Hells Bells wasnt too far ahead of The Colonel in my book. Hard to believe she was runner up last year.

Didnt think it was a very good advertisement for poker.

LMFAO to Roys reactions to The colonel. I think he was waiting for Jeremy Beadle to appear.

Damn pesky narcolepsy, missed half the 80s myself due to it.

Anyone else see that hand when Helen had tens. Action was early on, two limpers Roy completes and Helen raises to 4-5 times the big blind. Two limpers fold Roy pushes who already has lost half his stack and Helen FOLDSSSSSSSS, fu@kin redonkculous. Think roy had A8 or something.

The colonel was worth the watch though especially the check behind with sixes full:D

Oh and the colonel won his ticket playing 3-card brag and he said he had limited poker experience. I LOL'd.

What do people think of this tournament in general? I think it as an absolute crapshoot - terrible shallow structure.

Personally, I thought the tourney was huge value with $1,200,000 added money but the blinds are a joke. I hope they do something like the William Hill Grand Prix so that the best player has a chance of winning.

was wondering if they were taking the psis about this, just caught the repeat tonight best poker I've seen on tv absolutely brilliant. think the chief better watch out

The chief is Barry Bleed*in Greinstein compared to this guy. Bad advertisement for poker, yes, but the best laugh ive had in ages, besides seeing lloyd kicking the chair in the SE.
