Breaks Collective - Funky Drummer / Bass

    Hey, have tried a few times posting for musicians that may be interested in a Breaks project, it seems its "All that Rocks" on the Musicians Wanted boards, so on the off chance I thought I'd stick it up here. I'm a percussionist (Congas, Bongos, Timbales etc) looking at this stage for a Drummer and Bass player to arrange a set of Original Breaks (Some not so Original!!) to put together a Collective of Musicians to overplay, ie some tracks with Brass, some with MC's, a track with Hammond Organ, well you get the idea. NOt forgeting some guest vocals etc. I wouldn't even list influences but just think The JBS and you'll get it. So, if any of you know a Drummer who is into any style of Hip Hop/Soul/Funk/Breaks/Trip Hop/ then please pass on this and get a message to contact here. That goes for a Bassist, ideally you would play Jazz / Slap style and have some experience of Double Bass, although not essential. I have been collecting Funk/Breaks Vinyl for nearly 10 years so have a whole library of samples for insperation. Oh sorry, Dublin City, North or South (we wont get into that!) I'm based on the North and City Centre rehersals would suit me for a jam etc. Sound. Pete
