I'm not from Cork but I've been into a few instruments shops down there, I wonder if any of them carry recording equipment?
What level of card are you after starter or adavanced? Any particular requirements that you defintiely need?

Tbh even if there is a half decent pro audio shop in Cork you'd likely get way lower prices and a much bigger selection on ebay or on a site like www.thomann.de if that option is open to you and you don't mind waiting a few days.
