This forum is where a lot of Irish Internet consumers gather to discuss various issues that occur in the Irish telecoms environment. Everyone is free to give their opinions, stories and comments once they adhere to the charter of this forum.

The views expressed here are not the views of IrelandOffline, but personal views views of the individual posters. All official opinions of IrelandOffline can be viewed on their website: www.irelandoffline.org.

From time to time, moderators may create, remove or lock threads, by request of the IrelandOffline Committee.

This Forum

• Basic rules
  1. No advertising.
  2. No flaming/trolling.
  3. No attacks on other posters.
  4. No attacks on other people.
  5. No reproduction of personal communication (without prior consent).
  6. No reproduction of personal contact methods of company employees (unless already publically available).
  7. All participants are required to declare their interests up front, when participating in discussions directly affecting them or their company.
  8. All other boards.ie rules must be adhered to which include not posting messages, or links to resources, that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
  
  Violations may lead to posts being modified and/or deleted, and may also lead to a banning without notice, at the sole discretion of the current forum moderators.
  
  
• Asking Questions
  If you have a question or questions, we would very much appreciate it if you searched this forum before you asked, because it's very likely anything you have to ask has been asked before. To search the forum, use the 'Search This Forum' box provided on the upper right.
  
  
• Attacks against the person
  Despite this being a free public forum, what is said here reflects directly on IrelandOffline and Boards.ie. As such, we would ask that posters remain respectful in their opinions when discussing organisations or their employees. Comments which could be construed as false, libellous or offensive will result in posts being deleted or amended and the poster banned.
  
  Concerns with the policy or actions of the moderators should be discussed in the first instance by PM (private message) with the moderators themselves or on the Feedback forum.

Other Forums
There are a few other forums on boards.ie that you should be aware of. The Broadband forum is for general tech support etc for broadband connections. The Nets/Comms forum is for network and communications specific support and chat.

The mods here have no problem moving a thread to another forum if its deemed to be off topic, some people just may not be aware of these forums. So please dont take this as a dire warning never to start a topic which might be off-topic, if you're not sure go ahead and post here and we can move it if it belongs elsewhere
