Saw these second hand for €30 each in Game and was wondering if anybody would recommend / denounce them.

Kameo is probably worth buying (from what I've heard).

Kameo is average. Personally, at this stage, I wouldn't bother. There are plenty of good 360 games to play. Unless you're really stuck for something to play and don't want to spend much money, don't bother. You can probably get a better game on Ebay for €30 anyway. It's not an awful game, but not good either.

PDZ is only worth it for the multiplayer and again, at this stage, there are far better games to play multiplayer (GoW, COD3, RB6 Vegas).

Kameo is really good but its a short game. Xtravision will be renting 360 games within the next week so might be worth waiting for a rental version

I thought Perfect Dark was utter crap

As said above there are much better games out, and check out play-asia.com as for about €35 you can get nearly any game released.

I got pdz at launch but traded it in a long time ago as it simply doesnt compare to the newer games released.

look at 1up show no 8, 1up.com for a detailed review of pdz, its got very good mutiplayer modes, loadsa weapons, new maps to download, look at youtube.com for videos.I think its worth 30e,i dont know if theres many people playing it online. Its not a simple game like cod2, theres many weapons and gadgets in it with secondary firing modes, like the 360 version of timesplitters 2 ,with Bot offline maps ,if you dont have gold online membership.some reviews gave it 75percent.Reviewer on 1up says its great game, with some flaws in single player mode.YOU will need patience to figure out different weapon modes and tactics on various maps.i heard kameos ok,but you can finish it in 8hours or less.

I enjoyed both of these games, Kameo more so offline and PDZ online (althouh the single player was good as well). €30 isn't asking that much so you can't go wrong. Then again, you can get COD2 on play.com for €27 new!

Cheers for the advice lads, although a lot of conflicting views there!

I had almost bought them, one of them at least, thinking it's only €30, but having paid so much for the system I thought better of impulse buying a possibly average title. I'd rather have a collection of a few decent games, than a load of average ones. Made that mistake with the ps2 and old xbox. I guess I'll just leave it. Unless they get dropped to €20 ;)

    rgiller,
Definitely check out Play-Asia, some nice deals on region free games there. Also Ebay. Plenty of people selling their games on Ebay and if you catch them at the right time, the games can go for a nice (low!) price. Just make sure the seller has lots of positive feedback, and you're sorted.

I think pdz o is very good for mutiplayer if you have a gold account and fast broadband connection .Not quite as good as graw ,rainbow 6 las vegas,or cod3, look at videos on youtube perfect dark mutiplayer .If you take the time to learn the weapons and tactics, its not a game you can get thru in ten hours like CALL of duty 2 .It was critised cos single player is complex ,underdesigned , some levels had arrows to show you where to go next.
