Have done most of these and more. Cant say i noticed mch of a difference. Turning of indexing was the best by far.

The rest are mild tweaks. There is a link in the com/tech forum with all these and many many more.

Stay away from microsoft powertools like a hooker with ghoneria.

I've had this PC for 2 years and only turned off indexing yesterday. WHOAH. Is all I can say. I was wondering why my HD always sounded like it was doing something...
