PPP GJP Software Conflict

    Just noticed this tonight.

    If I open GJP software client then try and open PPP client the PPP client won't open, If I open PPP then try open GJP it doesn't open.

    Anyone noticed this?

    Ntl this is the same for any 2 clients on the Tribeca network.

    I rarley play on Tribeca and even less on two seperate clients never noticed it before.

    It is not a conflict. It is built this way purposely so that you can only play on one cage at any one time.

    This is a security feature. You cannot open two tribeca skins at the same time from the same IP Address.

    You can, you're not suppose to be able to.

    Fair enough but you run the risk of having your account frozen and possibly even have funds confiscated. Be careful.

    in xp you can right click on the program shortcut (icon) and click runas and choose a different user on your computer for the second skin...you cant play at the same table from the same IP

    Before anyone from PPP jumps in here Im not promoting this nor do I do this myself but it can be done

    Yerssum I heard this was so. The same IP security features and all other marvellous colusionary tools still operate behind this. It is rather more of a detterent :)

    Is there any problem in playing with two skins at once via the different xp user way. There is no advantage in it if you have to sit at different tables.

    I wasn't doing it to take advantage of anything.

    I'm doing my little $100 challenge on GJP but I wanted to play a tourney exclusive to PPP at the same time.

    I can't see them confiscating funds unless there's something fishy going on!
