    for me in pgr3 :(

i was gifted an early xmas present on saturday of the new 360 race wheel and set it up today but the force feedback won't work.

i followed the destructions and put the disc that came with the wheel in first but it did not load any drivers or do an update and there seems to be no way to do it yourself.

i can use the wheel in game by selecting it " wheel A " in the controller settings but without the force feedback it's just to light when playing...

anyone get one and have the force feedback working ?

Yes, it works with PG3 which comes with the wheel. Remember that the wheel must be plugged into the mains for FF to work. You wont get FF on battery power.

    Doh !!!

thanks for the reply 3rdDegree , i must have skipped that part in my excitement :o

although for a wireless wheel you have a lead going from the pedals to the base of the pad and to get force feedback you need to plug it into the mains  good job ms

the fact that i can sit on the other side of the room and play without a lead trialling over to me is great but i hate it when i have leads going over / around and touching me

    Edit

wow i just found the force feedback info on page nine of the novel , it reads " if you use batteries instead of the power supply , force feedback will not be active. "

now the good thing seems to be that with my rechargeable battery in the * cough * wireless wheel and it also connected to the mains it will charge my rechargeable battery , yeh i thought but wait thats what i bought the ****ing battery charger pack for !!! .

although i have loved my xbox's to bits and i love my 360 i'm getting a pain in my hole with either games or hardware such as peripherals not working as advertised.
