    Hi,

I am in need of help. I have two old 1947 American Chrylsler Windsors both are in need of some form of repair. I am looking to use them for weddings in the future but need to make them road worthy and reliable. Are there any auto shops in Ireland that sepcialise in this work without having to take out a second mortgage?? Any help would be grately appreciated.

How much work do they need? It might be cheaper to buy a good car than repair what you have. A friend of mine is selling a De Soto if your interested.

you wont be able to get a cheap job done on them there cars:D they have to be tested for your insurance to do weddings,so any job would have to up to the test standerds for hireing off the cars, with full insurance:o

I see that someone has suggested that it may be cheaper to buy rather than to repair....in my search for a classic merc I did see a Chrysler Windsor for sale on classiccarsales.ie.....this might be worth checking out.

Hey what is the price on the De Soto?

Also, do you have a link to the car listing? Can't find it on that site "classiccarsales.ie".

    :(
