The company I work for is looking into getting their website revamped as their current web site is well dated and was made a long time ago. They are looking around at other sites to see what is the best sort of layout etc. to go with. They are a planning and Landscape company so they want to keep the information as clear as possible with very little graphic content. So was just wondering if anyone has links to any sites they think show information in a really nice and crisp manner. I know this sounds odd but thought you guys would know what your talking about then it comes to this stuff..

    Cheers

I know this is not what you asked for but you could download and mess about with them and see if any of them are any good.
There are plenty of sites that give out free templates.
    You can Google....website templates.
    Its a start.

    Hi,

I was going to provide you with a link to CSS Zen Garden. It's a great site for CSS based design ideas. However, their site seems to be down or something, cause I can't access it for some reason.

If it comes back up, here's the link anyway: www.csszengarden.com. As far as i remember, the site allows others to submit a CSS file which changes the whole look and feel of their website. The best of the bunch are left online and they are really clean and crisp designs in my opinion (well, most of them are).

I'll keep an eye on their site and if/when it comes back up, I'll post up a few internal links to individual designs in their site that I liked and bookmarked.

That might help you out? Is that what you are looking for?

I found this site very good, concise instructions for making clean css based html pages.

at the bottom of that page it gives what the finished site layout should look like
