Go here, and do a search for Fender Jazz, and you should come up with some nice results.

Click where it says "For overseas Customers" and you can access translated pages.

I've gotten things from there before, you'll get a good deal.

Just remember to add the vat and import tax to the final price(including shipping). You may get caught for it or you may get lucky. Still better than any Irish or EU dealers.

Digimart is just a search engine thats linked to a bunch of different japanese retailers. Some of them export, some of them dont. Its anyones guess how good/reliable half of them are.

The whole thing with Ishibashi is that youve got a whole load of first hand experiences right here on this site.

have to say buying from ishi was a lot easier than i expected it to be.

great email support from a guy called Ace - what a name - and he had brilliant english (better than my own) and the guitar came within a week.

strangely enough my guitar came with my regular postman on a bike  and i wasn't charged customs duty and vat which i have accounted for but was very lucky to get away with it.

Meet here a recent first time Ishibashi happy customer, I got a wonderful Edwards left LP. These are top Japanese bussinessmen, I got my guitar in a week wrapped in the most massive amount of bubble paper I´ve seen in my whole life.
I´d suggest emailing them and asking for a price quote including shipping. But if I remember correctly, they just stopped shipping Fender Japan overseas...

Only the new ones. You can still get mint condition second hand ones in the UBox.

ahh ill forgive ya,there are some nice basses indeed on that site though,is digimart a "no go" cause its not actually an online shop?

Only in the U-box section, the main ishibashi site is all new gear. Fender Japan are the main ones so far that aren't shipped new.For U-box orders, they are extremely honest about any minor scrapes and scratches on guitars, you can get very lucky with a top condition second hand model for sometimes half the price of new.

As i said already, its just a search engine. When you see something you like, theres a link that gives you the contact details for that particular shop. Its anyones guess whether that particular shop is as export friendly as Ishibashi. More than likely, you wont find anyone who has dealt with that shop, so youre dealing blind.
