So how would people rate junior rugby in Ireland? I play Div 1 junior league in Connacht and Ive found the standard of quality can vary wildly from team to team and from referee to referee. I would say it averages out good enough in the end but whats the opinions of anyone here involved in J1 or J2 in any of the provinces?

I found that the only real difference is the level of commitment people could put in. Otherwise teh standard was pretty similar in J1 , J2 and occasionly j3.

Remember watching a game when that leinster scrum half from landsowne (its a couple of years ago) - he was an ex irish playe r aswell, anyways he was playing J4 first game back from injury!
