11mbps to slow for live?Quick answer needed*EDIT*

    Thinkin about gettin a wireless adopter for the 360 but wanted to know if 11mbps (802.11b) would be too slow?Does this look okayhttp://www.pcupgrader.co.uk/detail.asp?id=15641

    G is 52mbps, not 11.

    No, you're roadband connection is proably only 1-2 mbps and realistically you should get a transfer speed of 5-6 mbps with a 11mbps adaptor, so it should be adequate.

    Where it might slow you down is of you're transferrring/streaming media from a pc onto the 360.

    /edit: and yea, as feylya said, it is 52mbps

    also don't think you'll get the full speed whether it be 11mbps (that's 802.11b right?) or 52mbps as that's the theoretical max and even at that the speed you'll get depends on your broadband connection.
