Seeing as ALDI have voip phones for 18euro today, can you get voip to work at all over isdn? Anyone tried it at all.

    Thanks 007 :)

Yes it should work. Skype works on 28K dialup. ISDN is at least a genuine error free 64K. Even Skype with video is plausible, though I don't know.

Are they real VOIP phones (i.e. work without PC, not so common) or simply USB sound cards with buttons shaped like a phone?

    Hi,
Its a little off the topic but I purchased a Ikino that works for Skype. Can I get it to work for Voipcheap ? I really would appreciate any views

If it is really a USB voice handset, then it will work for anything if you set up everything. True Skype ONLY handsets don't use PC at all. All USB so called Skype handsets that I have seen are really just USB sound cards with buttons. :)
