i was playing the $500 sunday special on ladbrokes when the connection to it dropped, my internet connection is fine but I'm not able to get back on, I remember they were having these problems before with their severs in Gibraltar, anyway really p'd off with it as 1st time I've played there in a while and it happened to me before there as well costing me lots.

Anybody else having these connection probs and do you know if Ladbrokes will do a refund? unlikely i know:rolleyes:

Anyway definitely last time I play there if it's not sorted.

i think it all depends on the tourney if it was finished or not . if it finished and people were paid out then say goodbye to the money . if it was cancelled due to problems from their side then you will get a refund, but probably would have been notified already

I played at ladbrokes on Monday and Tuesday with no problems - in fact connection seemed better than ever, all the new software bugs seem to have been ironed out. Can't comment on Sunday as I had no electricity in my house.

Yip, I got a full refund as it was problem with their servers, so fair play to them.

A similar thing happened me on Ladbrokes one night and I have to say they were more then generous on their refund policy. I had been running 3rd in the later stages of an mtt when they dropped all connections. They gave me a refund of my buyin and also gave me an amount that worked out to be somewhere between the 1st and 2nd prize. Cant remember how they worked this out but they did send me an explanation that I was happy with at the time. This was a couple of years ago now.
