I have the same problem. I think the high winds have made a cable loose on my system. Am waiting to get it fixed.
The system health check generates a different 4 digit code every time i access it. You must use the number on the screen as far as i know, and not your own. I am not 100% sure of that though, but the reason it wont work now is probably because there is no satellite signal.

The Sky call centre ask you the code that appears and give you a new code to type in.

No signal in this weather means a dish that was not mounted well enough and has moved!

its most likely dish alignment is incorrect due to high winds

I'd be 95% certain it was knocked out of alignment.

I've a motorised system and can usually 'fool' it back by offsetting the degrees for the stations.

Have had the exact same problem here. Was praying that it was only temporary becasue of the rain (deep down I knew that would be difficult as it has survived worse) checked with the neighbours and their systems were fine.

Rang up Sky and they are sending someone out on Thur. Luckily we're still in warranty so it'll cost nowt but if the "engineer" is anything like the last couple they sent, he will probably chance his arm and charge us €50.

The thing that annots me is that we have Sky+ in both rooms so there are plenty of recordings saved up but we can't access them whilst the signal is down!!!
