J1 to California

Hey all, looking for a quick bit of advice.

I'm due to go to California next summer for 3 months, but there's all sorts of complications about who I'm going with. Right now, it looks like there might just be 3 of us. Do you think that's enough?

Anyone who's done a J1, did you find a big group or smaller group to be better? I know we'll make plenty of friends there, but I'm just concerned about living arrangements. Would it be very expensive to get a place for just 3 of us?

I'll probably be in the area between LA and San Francisco - not very specific, I know, but that's the best I can cay now.

I would say the more the merrier but you will meet new people regardless. Having 3 is grand and it certainly isnt a reason not to go.

There's no need to get a big group of you going. You'll have the craic no matter what and you'll meet people no matter how many of you there are.

Just something to keep in mind... 3 can be an awkward number of people.. Three's Company and all that. But it is actually a weird dynamic (sometimes resulting in 2 being close while 1 gets left out).
Just be sure that you know you can live with the other 2 people. You'll have a brilliant summer either way.
