Wondering if get a chance tonight Steve you might post up how many points you get for each position or a link if you already have posted it somewhere. Will be handy to know for the latter stages of the tourney to calculate where we all are in the leaderboard and to know whats the minimum points Ian needs to claim the title. Is tonight 3riple points??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,537 ✭✭✭Ste05

It all depends on how many players we get. But if we get a decent turnout and Ian gets knocked out early then there are about 5 or 6 players who could clinch first place.

Could be a time for a bounty to be put on Ian's head should make it even more interesting.

I'll append the BCOOP 2006 tag to my signature tomorrow when I'm less hungover. One whole year of that to look forward to. Ah. Good times.

Delighted for you....cant believe that twice you called my raise with muck, hit the lower card of a paired board, and shipped all your chips in......<></////////'>

    Rooney wins

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,328 ✭✭✭hotspur

He was red hot favourite to win the main event imo and did it while playing 10 tournies. Well played sir :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,537 ✭✭✭Ste05

Yep, I let us down, :( Rooney won the tournament, and played very well, I had him at my table for nearly all the tournament and he showed why he has the tournament results he has. He played a very good game, I could have knocked him out earlier in the tournament with his Q10 v my A4 All In PF, but that wasn't to be.

Very well played to everyone, I'm going to update the table now and we'll know the final places, but Ian is the winner, so Congratulations to Ian. Well Done.

PokerStars finally e-mailed me the tournament summary and here's the Final Top 10 out of 79 participants.
    1. ianmc38
    2. ocallagh
    3. White Knight
    4. dvdfan
    5. BigDragon
    6. hotspur
    7. musician
    8. Ste05
    9. HalfBaked
    10. Lafortezza
So Congratulations again to Ianmc38 and to ocallagh for coming in second and an excellent performance by White Knight who came in third.

WP all, I assume Ian will be very modest and we probably won't hear about this again, so Congratulations to our BCOOP Champion 2006 Mr. ianmc38.

Well done to everyone else on some good performances. I knew ocallagh and white knight would bottle it at the last hurdle, so I decided to give last night a miss due to a severe hangover. In all honesty, I think the result is a fair reflection on the poster here with the best all round game :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,053 ✭✭✭jimbling

damn, would love to have played... but didnt get back till 12 last night.
congrats to ianmc on the win....

Modest to a fault, congrats. Unfortunately I forgot to get that 1st prize sponsorship sorted out but I know the title is all that's really important to you.
    I'll forget my head next.
