I see it on 515 on Sky. Just a rolling demo until they actually launch.

Heh, it's rolling demo, but with a headlines banner at the bottom, and advert breaks! Mind you, just as I type, there is a lifestyle programme on now.

It didn't have the banner and I don't think it had adverts earlier in the day when I was watching.

So far it seems more like Euronews than Sky, BBC, CNN, Al Jazeera, etc. Just video with voiceovers. No presenters at desks or anything like that.

Although it looks like presenters may be about to appear as I type.

Is it only in English at certain times? Right now it's in French.

France, Quebec and Swiss French Speaking areas are the last fortresses holding out against the onslought of English/American.

will they be on any form of NTL's epg. Considering that TV5MONDE and euronews FRA are already there it would be suprising if they wern't

No Cable companies in the UK and Ireland are taking France 24. This is in sharp contrast to Continental Europe where Cable companies in most countries are.

Looks like France 24 is being shut down already: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7178158.stm

Merde indeed. The English and Arabic service is to close, a French language only service will replace. Not a good move.
