A bubble hand

Unfortunately I have the lost hand history from this so just have to do it by memory.

    Online re-buy tournament ($10)
We are down to 11 players and 10 get paid. I am only interested in first place.
1 player has just been knocked out of the tournament in the last hand which means I am now sb to the villians bb.

I have 103,000 and villian has 280,000 and is overall chip leader.
I am 2nd on chips at table and 3rd overall.

The blinds are 4000-8000 with ante of 1000 so have m of about 6

I am probably perceived as quite laggy, been pushing and raising a lot and have called re-raises with 52 (I was getting good odds)
The villian only arrived at table in last 15 minutes. he has been raising a bit and using his chip stack but I wouldn't say he has been bullying the table too much

    So on to the hand.
I get AJo in sb, it's folded around to me and I call (comments)
    Villian goes all-in.

This is first hand in which there has been 11 remaining.

    So call or fold?

Not an expert on poker but I would say call.

When the villain raises are people calling, and if so has he been raising for a reason or losing hands?

It could easily be a bully attempt, but if you are only interested in first place let it go. It's less than 10% of you chips. You could easily be ahead but domination is possible as is a race.

I would say the opposite. I am more likely to gamble when I want to win to get chips. If I just interested in getting into the money then I fold without thinking.

what are you doing completing with this? unless you are trying to trap if you know he will push to a call.

stick it in when its folded to you, its a no brainer.

I see your point, all or nothing type of thing.
If I was averge stack or below i'd call and take a race but with 3rd highest stack, ill wait till I have more of an edge.

Well in the end I felt he was bullying me so I called, felt he pushed with enough hands to justify it, he had 88 and I didn't hit and was out in 11th.
On reflection if I am going to call a push then I might as well just open push although I imagine he would have called anyway in this case.

i dont like the limp with this hand i raise and fold to a push....you want to play against shorter stacks while its still 6 or 5 handed but its hard to lay this sort of hand down with only a few at the table.

they way you played it was as if to call any all in...imo...

This is an insta-push when folded to you in the small blind. As you say your M is only about 6 and you need all the chips you can get. You also said you have a LAG image so BB may call with some weaker aces.
