Gears of war: 'No checkpoint' after Gametag change

I changed my Gamertag yesterday, and now when i select continue campaign in GOW I get a 'No checkpoint' message. I had just started Chapter V, but now the only option i can pick from my saved progress is anything from Chapter 1. Anyone got any ideas? Changing my Gamertag didn't effect any other games nor has it affected…
