    Just saw this on the sky site and am in work so cant try it. Does this work in .ie?

    i have used the set recording by sms feature, but i havent been able to try the online version on my mobile. has anyone?

    Same here. Text messaging worked fine the couple of times I tried it.

    I tried the Sky by Mobile and although the application seems to download to the phone, I can't actually get it to work.

    I looked in to it and as my make and model of phone was not on Sky's 'ok' list I didn't take it any further.

    The text messaging service is pretty straightforward and works - providing you name the channel correctly. So if you want to record something on BBC One Northern Ireland you must name it BBC 1 NI in order for the recording to work.

    I've used it a couple of times and am very satisfied with it. I havent bothered to use the software version even though my phone is compatable. I just find texting easier to be honest.
