Wood glue selection

I'm hoping to make up some small tiles from scraps of solid oak floor I have; I want to laminate prepared sections together to make up the material I need. My first project is to make a small hardwood mallet for adjusting my timber smoothing plane. I've made a very substantial mallet before using teak, laminating 3 pieces together to make the head. Now what I want to know is does anyone have any recommendations on a wood glue to use for such an application- it'll need to be weather resistant and strong; I've previously used Humbrol Cascamite but it's a chore to mix up- any other options?
