buying a macbook in the states

    hey lads
    how are we all doin
    gonna buy myself a macbook when nt he states
    but i wanna no if there is anything i should no that is different about the one sold in the US comapred to the one sold in Ireland.
    Is there anything that will work in the states for example and wont work here in ireland?
    the power adapter, is it just a different 3 pin connector i need or an entirely different power adapter?(i have seen how the plug part just clips out)

    o one other thing, vcoulnt find the ul 3 pin plug on the apple site, any ideas where it is?!

    OMG! the recent Euro/Dollar exchange rates puts a Macbook (cheapest model) at around €890 if you can get someone to pick up one from the States, compared to the €1119 here!
    And thats with 7 or 8% sales tax - you could get it even cheaper from one of those States that doesn't have sales tax!

    I bought a Macbook from Canada in July & there is no difference except for the plug. Oh one big difference. The money, you will probably save about €400 at least. Good luck.
