a switch a wireless mouse & 2 computers

    ok guys i have 2 computers and 1 monitor i have them both connected to a switch but i just got a new wireless mouse and i'm trying to get this to work on both machines but the switch does not let me use the mouse, i installed the drivers on both machines 1 is running xp and the other 2000, (i'm in work) any ideas on how i can this to work?

    is it a keyboard/video/mouse switcher? if so then i suppose you could plug the mouse into the ps 2 input? no? if you dont have a KVM switch (think thats right) then you can pick then up cheap as chips on ebay
