My application isnt even in there, although i did apply. Is yours the same?

Hi CPLM,

My application does not appear in the 'My Application's' section either.
This is because it was not necessary to log into the www.publicjobs.ie website in order to be able to submit your application. So, in theory, anybody can submit their application - even if they don't have a user account on PublicJobs.

Still no email confirmation received by me either. If I don't hear anything by Monday, I will ring them up and see what the story is. So don't worry, you aren't the only one in this situation.

So will Publicjobs.ie not be running the competition then? The reason i ask is if I dont hear anything by Monday either im Going to ring too.

Is it publicjobs.ie or the Dublin CC HR Dept that we should ring about our application?

Hi CPLM,

Yeah its difficult to know who is looking after this competition. I think I will give The Public Appointments Service a wee jingle on Monday morning to find out what the situation is. It's just that I was under the impression that we should have received an email confimation/notification and just to ensure our applications were in fact submitted correctly and acknowledged.

Will let you know how I get on Monday!

Hi CPLM,

Yep, she said that if we didn't get a notification email by 15th December to ring up again. Said that email notificantions were not being sent out automatically as soon as you applied.
